We have been investigating the poles on a magnet and finding out how like poles repel each other and opposite poles attract. We also learnt a little about how a compass works and that it always points North,
Well done Year 3

Hello again!
The spellings for this week's test are;
fruit
grammar
group
guard
guide
heard
heart
height
history
imagine
Maths IXL: CC.8
English IXL: E.10
You'll be delighted to know that this Friday I don't plan on sending home spellings or IXL as I'd really like the children to spend time practising all the songs for the Valentine's Day performance. We are working really hard on them at school (and are loving every minute too) but any extra practice at home would be really helpful.
Thank you so much
Mrs Matthews

We have been investigating the strength of magnets today. We even performed a magic trick! We made a paper clip float and fly! Your children might be able to trick you at home!
Well done Year 3

We have been safely investigating magnetic and no-magnetic materials. We were very scientific and had lots of fun at the same time. Well done Year 3!
