World Book Day - Thursday
admin on: Class 4
We're all getting very excited for this Thursday's World Book Day!
The theme is 'Share a Million Stories', so we'll be swapping books with friends (please bring in a pre-loved book that you are OK to swap with a friend), using the wonderful picture book 'Flood' to inspire writing across and the school and then sharing bedtime stories at the end of the day. If you wish to join your child's class, then you are welcome into school from 2:45pm. Children are OK to bring in teddies and dressing gowns to get the full bedtime story effect!

Welcome back everyone. We have had fun making our Canopic Jars (finally). The children have bee amazing potters this afternoon.
We have sent home a few letters today, including one about Bradley Woods that will require you to fill in a few details and send back please.
Also keep working on your times tables. We have been having a go at them using Purple Mash. Maybe have a go at home too.
Thanks again.

Well, it has been another exciting week in Year 4. We have been writing books about our own Ancient Egyptian Gods. They are amazing Year 4!
We have also been learning about Ancient Egyptian Pyramids and have even visited an ancient tomb using a VR headset! Wow!
Well done Year 4

We have a little competition going with Year 3 at the moment. We are certain that we can beat them. Our competition is on Mathletics and who can get the most achievements and certificates. We have also just begun a little competition on TT Rockstars!
Keep having a go and lets see if we can beat Year 3!
Well Done Year 4
P.S. You can go on these on most electronic devices - laptops, phones, computers, Ipads or other tablets.
24.1.2020 - Embalming!
admin on: Class 4
Goodness me, we have had a grim and gruesome week in Year 4. We have been learning all about the mummification process. The children turned into embalmers and have begun the process of embalming their Pharaoh (or tomato)! So far the Pharaohs are in their natron salt and are waiting for the liquids to dry out. We shall remove the mummies from their tomb in a few weeks time and find out the results! Well done Year 4!
