25/04/25 A Week in Review
Posted: Apr 25, 2025 by: Greg Hobson (GHobson) on: Class 2
Good afternoon everyone,
First off, welcome back to everyone after the Easter holidays. Here in class two, we have started our new topic about the seaside.
In English, we have been trying to make some poems inspired by the seaside and we have illustrated pictures linked to our poems. The pictures we created were based on art by Nick Sharratt.
During our maths lessons, we have been adding in a quick way, using our tens and ones to solve problems and have used money as well.
In history, the class started looking at google maps to see what different seaside places look like and what features they can have.
For DT this half-term, the class are going to make mini campervan toys to play with and we started learning about wheels and axles.
We have enjoyed the lovely weather this week and headed out onto the field to practice some athletics activities ready for sports day later on this term. We used javelins, eggs and spoons, shotputs and batons.
Thank you for reading and have a nice weekend!
from Mr. H. and Class Two!
