Christmas activities and lunch
admin on: Reception
18th December 2019
Today we have had another busy day! This morning, we had a special delivery from the North Pole! Santa had replied to our postcards we sent him last Wednesday.
Also, we watched the year 3 and 4 dress rehearsal then did lots of Christmas activities. We coloured then cut out paper chains, completed a phonic word challenge and made the BeeBots move to different Christmas pictures.
At lunchtime, we all went up together, including Mrs Hemingway and Miss Hemingway, and had our Christmas dinners. One child said "It feels like Christmas already because we are all eating as a family!" They we all so yummy! Thank you to all lunchtime staff for making it so special.
After, we performed our Christmas production of Hey Ewe! for the last time. All the children were amazing!
What a fab-yule-lous time we all had today! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and happy new year.
From Miss Hemingway

What a busy week we are having.
I hope all the little Christmas gifts in their box's got home in one piece.
The children have had a lovely time being little Elf's this week with an abundance of crafts going on.
Thank-you so much to all the parent/grandparents and careers who came in today to help the children with their Christmas craft afternoon.
It was a lovely atmosphere.
Reading books will be changed Friday as normal but next week will be Thursday.
Looking forward to seeing you all at the performances next week.
