Autumn 2 week 7

Well we made it right to the end of 2018!
What a great start to school your child has had this year and rounded off with a super Christmas performance.
Have a lovely holiday but if you can spend some time reading, counting and writing little sentences such as:
The fat cat.
The red hen.
The fish dish.
That would be an enormous bonus. Your child should be able to sound out the words using Fred Finger and write this independently.
DON'T FORGET THE FINGER SPACES.
After the holiday we all be looking at traditional rhymes and stories. See if you have any at home you can read to your child so they are familiar with these.
Allow your child to look at the British coins and become familiar with their names, colours and shapes.
Thank-you for all the Christmas gifts that is very kind.
Merry Christmas,
The Reception Team.

What a fantastic afternoon. Thank-you to all those parents/grandparents who came to support the children at our Christmas Craft Fair.
We finished with a Christmas sing-song.

Sebs dad came to visit us today. He is a police officer. He told us all about his job and showed the children his special hat, handcuffs and batten.
The children then had a go at taking their shoe prints with a special ink pad.
The children made healthy edible Santa's today in our cooking session. Yum Yum!
