In year two, we have now got 5 new caterpillars. Their names are: Bob, Spike, Fuzz Ball, Flutter and Flowers. When they transform, they will turn into beautiful, bright butterflies. We will then release them into the wild where they will hopefully fly off and have a beautiful new life! Stay tuned to see their progress ...

Today we had a fantastic trip to YWP. We saw a wide range of animals from the polar bears to the squirrel monkeys! All children represented the school brilliantly. I am incredibly proud of the children as they did a lot of walking and coped really well with the heavy rain! Thank you to all the adults who came and helped. I hope everyone has a well deserved rest!
An African Experience

7th June 2019
Today, the children were visited by Esther Wilkey, a lady who has lived in Kenya and goes back to visit frequently. She told the children about what life was like including; where they lived, what food they ate, which animals lived there, where children went to school and many more interesting facts. Esther even mentioned about the encounters school had with cheeky monkeys who try to steal their food! It was such an enjoyable afternoon and the children and myself couldn't thank Esther enough for coming in!
