Week ending Friday 4th February

Posted: Feb 4, 2022 by: Martin Clayton (MClayton) on: Class 5

The Street-dance is really shaping up now!

Everyone is in positions and most of the dance is learnt; it's very exciting - not long until the show!

This week we have completed our complaint letters and we will be despatching them to a very busy Jason McCartney (I bet he can't wait to get more letters to read!); some people have written to the Prime Minister and others the Environment Minister instead. We are hoping the letters get us a visit. Watch this space!

In maths, we have been working with decimals, rounding and ordering them, then moving on to problem solving, which the class has been really very successful with.

Due to the changeable weather, we moved hockey into the hall this week, which actually benefitted our close control skills - so much so, we moved onto short matches. These will look really great when we move it outside onto the playground.

Miss Monday has really got some fantastic rainforest artwork out of the class - here are just a small selection:

Have a lovely weekend everyone,~
Mr C, Mrs J, Miss M, Mrs P and Mrs M
