Welcome back to everyone. It sounds like you have all had a great holiday.
We have had a busy week back.
We had a great start with Miss Monday (on Tuesday!) with our new athletics sessions in PE. We then went into our Orienteering with our new coach on Thursday. It was wonderful to watch you all work so well as teams, supporting and helping each other create obstacle courses and draw the maps. You encouraged each other to be brave and have a go! Well done.
In Maths, we have been learning about lines! We learnt all about horizontal, vertical, parallel and perpendicular lines. We also learn about turns. You had a go at turning clockwise and anti-clockwise and used the correct terminology for right angle turns. Keep it up!
We have begun a little project all about fables in Literacy. You have enjoyed thinking about some of the morals that appear in different fables and have begun to plan your own fable. We even learnt the term - protagonist!
