Well we have had another week looking at  Traditional Tales. The Three Billy goats Gruff.

We have looked at the structures of bridges and experimented with different designs.

Please take your child to your nearest bridge (safely) as they didn't know we have a bridge in Netherthong village or Holmfirth?

Look for the arch shape underneath and talk about what material the bridge is made from.

It's it an old or new bridge? How do we know?

In maths work this week we have been splitting up (decomposing ) the number's 6,7,8 and seeing how they are made up of smaller number. We also looked at odd and even number using pairs of socks.

Crafting we designed and made 'Trolls'faces.

Here are just some of the highlights:

Experimenting with bridge structures

Investigating numbers 6,7,8

Free play

Thank you for all your support at home.
