Mark

Hold the sentence: Park the car.

Number –today the children will make a number game.

Get out your board games.

Look at the patterns of numbers. You might just want to have a snake of squares 1-20 with special messages if they land on it like, miss a go, go backwards 3 jumps, have another go. You could make an alternative snakes and ladders?

If you like to be creative you might even decide to swap your games with your penpal.

Topic

African patterns are just amazing. They are influenced by their surroundings.

Watch the powerpoint (if available) then go outside and see if you can find patterns in nature in your own garden.

African-patterns-information

You can then do a pen and ink picture as the one below using patterns you have seen or something creative.

You might add colour or make another mosaic with the patterns in mind.

Thank-you for your photos and support.
