Healthy Eating Assembly

Today Fay Lunn (Holmfirth High School P.E. teacher and Sports Partnership Schools Coordinator) come in and gave children an assembly on 'Healthy Eating'. The children thoroughly enjoyed learning more about keeping themselves fit and healthy by, not only exercising every day, but also by limiting the amount of sugary foods in their diet. Many of the children were amazed by the amount of sugar in many of the foods/drinks they enjoy and learnt all about the effects on their bodies.
