Class 4

Homework.

admin on: Class 4

You may have noticed there was no homework set last Friday. This was because we spent most of the morning making sweets and the afternoon preparing for the Winter Fayre.

Miss Quarmby (our University of Huddersfield PGCE student teacher) will be setting homework this Friday, so keep your eye out on the blog for a message from her.

In the meantime, if you would like your child to do some work on IXL this week, section F and J of the maths IXL is on division and multiplication skill builders which will help them improve their times tables.

Sweets!

admin on: Class 4

A big thank you to Lauren, Mrs Rawes, Mrs Aitkin, Mrs Kershaw, Miss Kewley, Mrs Lindley, Mrs Haley-Porteous and Miss Quarmby for helping Class 4 make sweets on Friday.

We had some fantastic results and I was very proud to be selling them at the Winter Fayre on their behalf. Here are some pictures of us making them.

Class 4 DT project

admin on: Class 4

This half term, Class 4's DT project will be making sweets. We will be creating them in a couple of weeks' time so keep your eye out for a letter with more details. This is just a quick note to say that next week we will be trying small samples of existing sweets as part of our market research. They will be analyzing them accordingly to help inform their own sweet design. All sweets consumed will take into account allergies we are aware of.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to come and see me!
