Another week has been completed in Class 5. Only two more weeks to go until we all move up to Year 6!
This week, we had transition day on Tuesday. Obviously it was a bit of a strange transition day, as we didn't have any need to get to know each other! We got stuck in with some Y6 maths and did some graffiti art in the afternoon. Also, a big thank you to everyone who was on the virtual transition meeting. Also this week, we have carried on with our Holbein portraits. The children have done many drafts of these and really improved their observation skills. In the end, the results have been stunning. I am so proud of them!
As a result of us working so hard on the art, I thought we would have a bit of a silly art lesson this afternoon, where we drew our pets in Holbein portrait style. Here are some of the results. Hilarious!
