Reading
There is chapter 4 of The Great Marvello on PurpleMash along with the quiz.
English
Yesterday, you should have created your maze. I have seen lots of good examples of these. Today, you need to think about what type of creatures and obstacles lurk in your maze. Is the story you write going to be a scary one? An adventure story? Will it contain magic?
These are all things you need to be asking yourself when you add the objects/creatures into your maze. If you don't have a lot of space to draw creatures in your maze, you can draw a line to where it is in the maze and then label it with a drawing around the outside.
You should add at least 5 obstacles that you will be using in your story when we come to write it.
Here are your 8 questions:
1.) Where is the conjunction?     Despite being warm, the clouds were full of rain.
2.) How many apostrophes are needed?  Were nearly ready for the pantomime.
3.) Where is the possessive pronoun?   We should tell them it is theirs.
4.)  Where is the reflexive pronoun?      They have tried it themselves.
5.) Add commas to indicate parenthesis.      The classroom, which was too warm, was full of tables.
6.) What word type have I underlined?        The race was nearly complete.
7.) Add 2 commas.          "Well" said Mr. Smith "I am very impressed with you."
8.) Which word type replaces a noun?
