Thursday Updates

Afternoon everyone! I hope you have had a good day. I've been working from home all week, so I have been having 'lockdown lunches'. Basically, they are lunches I wouldn't normally have. Today, I had cheese on toast. I can't have 'proper' cheese on toast when we're in school, as there is no grill in the staff kitchen. So I have been making the most of working from home, and had cheese on toast. Yum!

Anyway, enough about my lunch! Alex has sent me his notes on Florence Nightingale. Although the photograph is a bit small to read it properly, I can see he has done lots of research for his biography and the handwriting looks like it is very neat!

Isla sent me a video of her wind turbine. Unfortunately, the blog doesn't allow us to upload videos. So I have posted a screenshot of the video she sent me. It looks awesome!

Owen also sent me a video of his wind turbine. I can confirm that both Isla and Owen's wind turbines work, as I have seen the evidence. Here are some photographs of Owen's wind turbine.

Mason has also been making a wind turbine, but this one is a bit different. It is a solar powered wind turbine! So I'm guessing on windy days, it is powered by wind and on sunny days, it is solar powered! Genius!

Fred has made a very neat-looking wind turbine. Well done, Fred!

Libby F managed over 14,000 steps yesterday! I will be seeing if anyone can beat her for tomorrow's PE.

Tom has got a new RC car. Looks fast!
