Homework 13/11/20

Another busy week has been and gone, with Remembrance Day, Children in Need and the flu vaccination! We've also been learning about Diwali plus all our usual learning. Today we began a little bit of Christmas display work - all classes will be creating a Christmas tree for the hall display so children will see that from the 1st of December when they go for their lunches.
Thank you for all your support with homework and the phonics reading. We started the phonics checks yesterday and they will carry on each Thursday for the next few weeks. In maths we have been adding and subtracting using the 100 square to help us, the children have become very fluent at this...
Mathletics homework this week is all about adding and TEAMs is about the Arctic. I've set a task using Flipgrid - there is a QR code in the children's homework books and instructions on the TEAMs assignment. PLEASE have a go at this as it looks really fun and is a little experiment as to what we can achieve on TEAMS. I'm also going to be doing a live mini lesson on TEAMS next Tuesday at 4:00pm.
