This week, to finish our Jamaica topic, the children made their own 'Jerk Seasoning' by mixing a variety of different herbs and spices. They then rubbed this on some corn-on-the-cob and fried it. To accompany this, they made traditional Jamaican rice and peas. They had lots of fun making it, but I think the spice was a bit too much for some when it came to trying it!
