Lots of updates this week!
First of all, an update from last week! For antibullying week, the children helped promote the 'reach out' campaign that encourages people to reach out to someone they trust if they need support as well as promoting the idea that people should 'reach out' to someone they may feel is being bullied. To illustrate the 'reach out' campaign, the children wrote the names of people they can reach out to and then took photographs of them 'reaching out'.
This week, half the class went on the bus to Huddersfield town centre to visit the Sikh Gurdwara with Mrs Kendal and Mrs Johnson to bring their RE learning to life.
Also this week, the children set out in science to disprove the statement, 'your heart rate never changes.' They did this by designing their own exercise routine and then taking their pulse at different points.
