11.11.22 Update

Posted: Nov 11, 2022 by: Liam Kershaw (LKershaw) on: Class 6

As today was Remembrance Day, the whole school took part in a two-minute silence in the playground at 11am. I was really impressed with how Year 6 conducted themselves.

Also this week, we have continued looking at World War Two in history. Learning about it on Remembrance Day added to its importance, I think. We have also looked at the circulatory system in science. The children became blood cells and the classroom became the blood vessels. The children travelled between the heart, the lungs (where they 'picked up' some oxygen) and the rest of the body (where they 'dropped off' the oxygen!). I tried to get some photographs that showed what they were doing, but it just looks like they were walking around the classroom, as you can see below!

Have a lovely weekend!
