Welcome back! I hope you have all had a lovely Easter break. This week, the children have been working hard revising for SATs. They have looked at many different areas of grammar this week and showing us their expertise! Also, they have revised percentages and fractions in maths. We are getting close to the SATs now and the children have been demonstrating a great attitude!
Also this week, away from SATs, we have started our new topic called 'Electricity'. The first half of the topic will focus on the science behind it and this week, the children learnt the scientific symbols for electrical components as well as investigating what impacts the brightness of a bulb. They also began to gain an understanding of voltage.
Finally, an appeal for parents to volunteer to create the Class 6 Year Book. Each year, we rely on the kindness of parent volunteers to create the year book and I would be incredibly grateful if one could step forward to begin arranging this.
