This week, we have written a newspaper report about the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in English. This was in preparation for our history lessons moving onto the First World War. Today, the children learnt how to be historians by using sources to deduce what life was like in the trenches on the Western Front. We will be continuing this next week. 

Also today, we have celebrated #HelloYellow World Mental Health. We have had a bit of fun, taking part in a quiz (which Ms. Kewley won!) and discussed the importance of talking about mental health. We also used the #HelloYellow photo booth props to take some silly photographs and hopefully raise some awareness of the importance of looking after our mental health.
