30.6.23 Update
admin on: Class 6
This week has been really busy! On Monday, the class had CPR training. They were incredibly mature and attentive and they learnt some vital skills, including delivering CPR, attaching a defibrillator, checking heart rate and putting people in the recovery position.
Also this week, Mrs Kendal and Class 6 welcomed a Jewish speaker in on Wednesday. They baked bread and looked at mini challahs and role playing welcoming the Sabbath.
Bikeability
admin on: Class 6
This week, most of the class took part in Bikeability. They started off with the basics on the playground, before moving onto Level 2 on the roads around the village. All of the children were fantastically behaved and impressed their instructors. All pupils who did Bikeability passed level 2. Well done!
University of Huddersfield Trip
admin on: Class 6
On Tuesday, Class 6 went to the University of Huddersfield for a taste of university life!
The children had a talk from some student ambassadors who told them about what they study and their life at the University of Huddersfield. Then, Active Hud ran a PE session with the children. After that, the children did a treasure hunt across the campus, looking at all the different buildings and departments. Finally, the children dressed in graduation gowns and had their photo taken receiving a certificate.
Here are some photos. If you would like your child's individual graduation photo, please email me.
Congratulations!

Tonight, they will be having the end-of-SATs party in the hall. I will post photographs of this next week.
