Ooh! I have a joke for Gretel...

Two cannibals are eating a clown, one turns to the other and says, "Does this taste funny to you?"

Ba doom, tish!

Anyway... Morning all! I hope you are all well. Yesterday was great. We had visitors!

Guy and Rio

The Spraggs

And Max!

Sorry we missed you Tom.

Mrs Johnson, Mr Kershaw and myself are in school for the next two days, so - if you are walking past on your daily exercise - call in.

Comprehension answers: 1a - Baby mammoth, 1b - to grab readers' interest and make them read on, 2 - cold, sparse Arctic area with few trees, 3 - northern Russia/Siberia, 4 - the animal is complete and well preserved, 5 - female, 6 - 'lopsided', 7 - by selling them as souvenirs, 8 - illegal trade, 9 - around 10,000 years ago/during the Ice Age/Pleistocene era, 10 - 'it is being sent to Japan for further tests.'

Reading:  30 minutes at least please. Thanks to those of you still reading and sending photos.

Maths: More multi-step word problems folks...

Nice maths, Jack!

English: I'm loving the writing - it's fantastic to read. Once I get them all back, I'll send them out - in the meantime, relax and read some more.

Exercise: Joe Wicks - or family walks/exercise - please keep getting your daily dose, it is so important not to stop. Lots of you are out walking. Well done!

Talking of healthy pastimes... look at this smoothie!

Topic: Today I have a computing task for you, from BBC Bitesize: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zhdr47h - Algorithms and debugging! Enjoy.

Did you hear about the hungry clock? It went back four seconds!

Speed Tables: Don't shirk on this... it is amazing how quickly you lose these skills. Please do it with a family member.

Well done all of you... don't forget to send your stories, so that I can send out your next ones.

Here are some photos. Take care...

Oli's cactus... and look! A bunny!
