In year two, we have now got 5 new caterpillars. Their names are: Bobby, Manilla, Indie, Coco and Isla. When they transform, they will turn into beautiful, bright butterflies. We will then release them into the wild where they will hopefully fly off and have a beautiful new life! Stay tuned to see their progress ...

Soccer Aid Playground Challenge

Today, children paired up with their buddies and took part in the Soccer Aid Playground Challenge for Unicef. Despite the weather, all children thoroughly enjoyed playing their own-made ball games with each other! Trip to Yorkshire Wildlife Park

Today we had a fantastic trip to YWP. We saw a wide range of animals from the polar bears to the squirrel monkeys! All children represented the school brilliantly. I am incredibly proud of the children as they did a lot of walking without too much complaining.Thank you to all the adults who came and helped. I hope everyone has a well deserved rest!

Dear Parents/Carers,
We are very excited that it is our school trip tomorrow and I would like to remind you of a few points.
- Our dress code is school uniform.
- We ask that children bring their packed lunch in a backpack or throw away bag as there is nowhere to store lunchboxes at the park. If I could ask that no fizzy drinks or nuts are packed in lunches.
- Please be at school for 50am prompt as we will be setting off for the coach at 9.05am.
- Hopefully, we will arrive back at school in time for the end of the day, but we will keep you updated by school.
