Homework 24th April 2020

Posted: Apr 24, 2020 by: Emma Barker (EBarker) on: Class 2

Have you noticed that more birds are visiting your garden? I know I have! This weekend why don't you do a bit of bird spotting? How many birds can you already identify? Are there some visitors to your garden or outside area that you don't know? You can have a look at the RSPB website to identify birds here. You might want to do a garden bird survey or entice some birds into your garden by making some bird feed. You could just spend a bit of time with your adult/s gazing out of the window and chatting about what you can see. We have a heron that regularly flies over our house and we always shout 'heron!' really loud. We've also spotted plenty of buzzards - although they haven't visited our garden! And we can hear the distinctive call of the pheasants in the fields.

Have fun this weekend with a bit of bird watching and see you back here on Monday!
