Morning all,

Be sure to check out the gallery below! There is a mixture of work pictures you have sent me and some from Uniform day too!

Here is a quick photo of Brego for you! Look how much he has grown!

Here is today’s list of suggested activities:

- GoNoodle -

Well done to all of you who hopped onto Spelling Shed and practiced the split ‘a-e’ and ‘u-e’ sounds!

We are sticking with split digraphs this week, ‘e-e’ and ‘o-e’.

Try writing these down with the help of your amazing Fred finger!

Don’t forget the secret E at the end!

Division using arrays!

Do you remember making arrays to help you when multiplying?

Well, arrays can help you when dividing too!

Have a look at this example here!

Today we are dividing in by two so you are grouping two spots into each group.

The answer is the number of equal groups you have made!

Have a go at these questions in your remote learning books using arrays to help you!

10 ÷ 2 =
  8 ÷ 2 =
14 ÷ 2 =
12 ÷ 2 =
18 ÷ 2 =
20 ÷ 2 =

- Break -

- English -

Have a listen to the story of Katie in London by James Mayhew by clicking here

Today you are going to write a news report to the rest of the United Kingdom about the sightings of a giant lion in London!

Can you write about:

What the Lion looks like?
Where is has been seen?
Is it friendly or unfriendly?
What to do if you see it?

You can use these sentence starters to help you write your own news report!

As an extra incentive, you could even film yourself reading your news report into a microphone, pretending to be on the news for real!

- Lunch -

- Science -

If you haven’t already, you could plant a seed or bean!

Click here to have a look at an activity all about what plants need to grow!

Thank you all for your ongoing hard work! It will all be worth it in the end! Keep digging in!

Cheers, and stay safe!

Mr. H.
