Morning all!
Here is today's list of suggested activities:
- Phonics -
We are carrying on with the 'aw' sound and it would be good to have a go on phonics play and practice some of the 'aw' words featured on there. Click here to open the link. Press phase 5 and then the 'aw' sounds.
- Maths -
Yesterday you practiced a little bit of addition. Today it is time for a small bit of subtraction practice. You can work these out using methods such as crossing out spots or counting back or using a numberline.
- Break -
- English -
Today I would like you to write me a sentence to go with each of your pictures you drew yesterday. Don't forget the very important capital letters, finger spaces, full stops and things like adjectives and conjunctions.
- Lunch -
- Geography -
This half term, we are going to be looking at the UK. Especially London and comparing it to Holmfirth. To start with, could you discuss places you have visited on holidays, days out etc. Use things like maps, atlases and google maps to look at the places in comparison to where we live. Discuss what is different about those places to where we live. Is it the seaside? Woodland? Mountains? Could you work together to draw a couple of these places?
