4.11.22 Update

Posted: Nov 4, 2022 by: Liam Kershaw (LKershaw) on: Class 6

Welcome back!

We've got straight back into things this week in Year 6. The children have started writing a recount of their favourite activities from Robinwood. In maths, the children have learnt lots of different angle rules. Ask them what the internal angles in a triangle or quadrilateral add up to and they should be able to to tell you.

In history, we have continued our war topic. This week, the children have looked at the Second World War, in particular the evacuation of Dunkirk and how it was an important point in history. In science, we have started are new topic on the circulatory system. I wanted to test their prior knowledge of the organs of the human body, so the children had to make organs out of Play-Doh and decide where they go in the body. Here are some photos of the children trying this out and their results!

Have a lovely weekend!
