A visit from the Nurse.
admin on: Reception
We were really lucky today to have a visit from Mrs Godding. She is a nurse.
She told the children all about her important job and how she helps people in the hospital.
Mrs Godding pretended to take some blood from Imogen!
She was very kind and gave us some medical equipment. We then had a great time pretending to be nurses too. We used stethoscopes and listened to our hearts. We bandaged each others injuries and we gave out some medicine too.
The children really enjoyed their special visitor and had lots of fun too.
Thank you Mrs Godding.

We had a special visitor into our Recption Class today from a Vet called James and his dog Oliver who can be seen on 'Pet Factor' CBBC.
He talked to the children about his job being a vet which was very interesting. The children listened to the dogs heart beat using his stethoscope.
Thank-you to Helen for making this possible.

We are looking at ordering numbers to 20 this week and looking for the patterns to help us remeber the order.
Also please practise our red words so far. You child should become familiar with them so that they can read them and write them.
the I love to.
Thank -you for your support.
