Visit from Olympic bronze medallist!

We were very fortunate to have a visit from British badminton player, Marcus Ellis, who was born and raised in Huddersfield. During the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, Ellis and Langridge were ranked No. 22 in the world, but they managed to win a bronze, the first medal in badminton men's doubles won by a British team in the Olympics. We got to see his medal and feel how heavy it actually was! Thank you for visiting us Marcus!
Cake mystery . . .

Today, children received an email from Mrs Barker asking them for their assistance to solve a mystery. A cake has been stolen from the staffroom! Children are going to be using email to correspond with Mrs Barker and will have to sort through evidence and clues to find the culprit or culprits. Which member of staff stole the cake . . .
Class trip to YWP

Children have taken home a letter today explaining about the exciting trip we will be going on. Linked with our science and geography topic, we are going to visit Yorkshire Wildlife Park on 10th June 2019. All information is on the letter regarding payments. We are all VERY excited!
