The Newly Elected Ministers Meet

School Government met again on the 11th February and it was fantastic to see our new ministers brimming with ideas and raring to go. We discussed all sorts of ideas from democracy and voting, to the environment and reading and we allocated our new ministerial roles.
Our first initiative following the election will be to find out more about what our school values 'Nurture', 'Progress' and 'Succeed' mean to you. Look out for some brand new posters around school with your ideas on! School Government will also be launching a Readathon on World Book Day on 3rd March. We will be sharing all the details with you in our World Book Day assembly. It's part of a 'reading for good' idea and not only will we raise money for books and story telling in hospitals, we'll also be raising money to add to our own book stock in school. So get reading in preparation!
