admin on: Class 1

Hi everyone!

We have had another great week in class one!

Well done to everybody for all their hard work and effort.

I am scheduling a mini phonics lesson using Microsoft Teams that will take place on Tuesday 24th November at 4.00pm. Please try to be available and on Teams at this time as it will give everybody (including me) a chance to be on Teams together and test out the video conferencing features available. All you have to do is be logged onto teams and you will get a notification to join a meeting.

In other news, Spelling Shed and Mathletics have been updated and please continue your wonderful reading!

Many thanks everyone!

13.11.20 Homework

Good afternoon everybody.

Here is a collection of photos of some of the children's work from this week's DT/ History lesson. We spoke about Rememberance Day and its importance and then put our DT skills to the test by making the poppies slide upwards as if growing.

Both Mathletics and Spelling Shed have been updated with up to date task on shapes and the 'a-e' and 'ow' sounds.

Teams has an assignment set up for you to try. It is a shape hunt around the house and reply with a photo of what things you found.

Thanks everybody! Have a great weekend and stay well!

6.11.20 Homework

admin on: Class 1

Hi all,

Well done to everybody in class one! They have all done wonderfully and settled back into school brilliantly!

During the first few weeks of this half term, we are going to be exploring the story of Old Bear! I know some children already know this story, they have told me they know it! In the story, Bramwell Brown and his pals make a tower to reach up to the attic to try and rescue Old Bear. How tall a tower can you make at home?

Head over to Microsoft teams and log in. Post a photo of your tallest tower there!

I look forward to seeing your towers on there!

Mathletics and Spelling Shed have been updated too!

Many thanks,

I hope you all have a good weekend!
