Hello everybody!

Firstly, just a spot of housekeeping...

Could I ask you to check cardigans and jumpers to make sure you have your child's and not other people's? There are some that have gone missing and haven't seen them around school. Thanks in advance.

This week we have been busy drawing and writing about the fantastic book called hibernation hotel! Here is a snap of the display that has just gone up in class one - well done everyone!

The children have had great fun blending colours, cutting out, adding markings to our coffee filter autumn leaves! we think they look ace!

Spelling shed and Mathletics have both been updated with new tasks for the children to enjoy.

Microsoft Teams also has a nice grammar (the children will call it Grandma - sorry!) task to have a go at too.

Many thanks and have a lovely weekend!

Hi all,

We have had a great week in class one and have, as always, been keeping very busy!

Firstly, just a quick note from the school library. If anyone has got library books from pre-lockdown time in reception class, please could you send them back into school.

Thanks to our helpers for coming in this week! It has been great for all the children to have that extra time and help!

Spelling shed has been updated with the 'oo' and 'ar' sounds and Mathletics has been updated too.

I hope you all have lovely weekends! Thanks!

Hi all!

It is October already! Time flies when you're having fun!

We have had a busy week! Deserts, animal groups, greater than, less than, capital letters, full stops, balance and symmetry!

For homework this week, Spelling shed has been updated with the 'ee' and 'ow' sounds.

We won the KS1 Mathletics competition this week so well done to all who have been on and contributed to our overall score!

There are now new tasks online.

I have added a task on Teams all about hibernation for you to have look at. Our new book for next week revolves around this topic so it will be interesting to see what you all know already.

And of course, keep reading!

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
