Welcome to Class 3’s latest blog.

Guess what we have been up to this week? Let’s start with amazing maths.  We have learned how master multiplication using the short multiplication method.  Lots of mmmm’s!

In literacy, conjunctions were the order of the day. We learned how to use them properly in our sentences. Some of our favourite conjunctions are and, but, so and because

In geography we have studied earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes and wild fires.  We have learnt about the different plates all around the earth. We are lucky that most other natural disasters, such as tornados, hurricanes and major earthquakes don’t happen often in our country.

On a cheerier note, we read a fun story – Everything I Know About Pirates - and learned the original meaning of “scaredy-pants”! Do you know where that came from?

In PE we had a fantastic dancey time bopping along to The Greatest Showman. We would have all got maximum marks on Strictly; even from Craig R-H!

Have a wonderful and safe weekend and see you all on Monday.
