Welcome to the Netherthong Primary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) page. We hope the information contained here will be useful to you and keep you informed of our activities. All parents, guardians and teachers of children at Netherthong Primary School are automatically members of the PTA.
The role of the PTA is raising funds for our school by organising social events and providing links between parents, teachers, children and the local community. The Association is run by a volunteer committee of parents and teachers which usually meet once a term. However, all are welcome at the meetings so please come along whenever possible. The main officers of the committee are:
Chair: Sally Moncreiff
Vice-Chair: Jeanette Sagar
Treasurer: Nathalie Holmes
Secretary: Katie Jenkinson
Secretary: Alison Clayton
The main use of funds is to provide Netherthong Primary School with additional resources and funding for activities outside of the school budget. For example, in the past PTA funds have supported the school library in the purchase of furniture and new books, purchasing Ipods for each class for multi-media purposes and organising Christmas theatre visits.
In order to generate funds, we organise a number of school events during the year including the Summer and Winter Fairs, discos and movie nights; all of which are supported by the staff, parents and local community in terms of time, effort and donations!
For details regarding forthcoming PTA meetings and events please refer to the school calendar.

Many thanks for your support.
