Wow!  Class 3 you are really showing me how grown up you are.  We have got our rules and routines well in place now, and you are doing a great job at sticking to them.

This week we have learnt some amazing new words in History - Neolithic, Mesolithic and Palaeolithic, to name but a few, we can throw in hunter gatherers and nomadic! Miss Watkins showed us some stone age arrow and spear heads that her mum had discovered too.  These were amazing.

In Science, we have learnt some new words too - igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary.  The children loved investigating the stones and discovered a few facts about them, including how they form and if they can float or not (density).

We have been reading The stone age boy too.  They children have really enjoyed reading this and completed some lovely writing all about it.

I am really impressed with you class 3.  Keep it up!

Miss Watkins and team
