Week ending Friday 10th December

This week, we have been very busy completing topics, at the same time as preparing for the Xmas performance, next week.
Maths has been fractions, fractions, fractions - with some decimals thrown in. And then, just when we were getting our heads around everything, I decided to throw some year 6 Long Division in, to see how we all coped. What fun!
In English, we have been looking at reciting of poetry - practising speaking with intonation and projecting our voices - all getting ready for next week.
Topic - Greek Gods/Goddesses - a really fun activity matching imagery with the relevant God/Goddess.
Miss Monday has taken over the science, working with levers - this will continue into next week.
And then, on Friday morning, we were all treated to a fantastic pantomime version of A Christmas Carol!
