Thursday Updates

Hi everyone. I hope you've had a good day. Please get in touch if you haven't already this week, I would love to hear from you!
First of all, some big news. As some of you may know, Libby F is moving to Scotland. Well, it is happening tomorrow! Her and her family have all packed up and are ready for the big move. Libby has been with this school a long time, and I'm sure you will agree she has made the school a brighter place during her time here. I have definitely enjoyed teaching her for the last two years and will miss her very much. Luckily for us, she has decided to continue doing Netherthong blog work for a few weeks, as she doesn't start her new school until August. If you would like to send Libby F a message, feel free to either comment on this blog, or send me an email and I will forward it to her. I know some of you may be sad that you haven't had chance to say a proper goodbye, but I'm sure you will back me up when I say that we wish her and her family all the best! I have asked her to send us some pictures of her lovely new home.
In other news, I have had lots of 'Guides to surviving Year 5' through today. I will post them tomorrow, so that I give other children the time to send theirs in. They are great so far! Lots of useful information, and some interesting comments on me! A lot of the work I have received today is the guide, so there aren't a lot of photographs to upload today as I am saving the guides for tomorrow. Hope that is okay!
