The Big Draw in Y5

Posted: Oct 18, 2019 by: Liam Kershaw (LKershaw) on: Class 5

In Year 5 this afternoon, we took part in our creativity and wellbeing themed Big Draw. The children had a variety of drawing activities that were designed to help improve their wellbeing. They were given large pieces of card which they have taken home. If they would like to continue filling them with different drawing tasks, here are some more for them to try at home:

Draw your house from a bird's eye view.

Find something big to draw (such as a building, ship or landscape) and draw it as small as you can.

Pick a book at random, open it to page 50 and draw what you read on line 6.

Find something small to draw (such as a button, insect or flower) and draw it as large as you can.

Draw your journey to school.

Draw a plant everyday for 2 weeks and see how it changes.

Draw your dream as soon as you wake up.

Draw something seen through a microscope.
