As part of our Seaside topic, the class have started learning about the village of Mousehole in Cornwall and we have looked at the first page of the story - The Mousehole Cat.
Maths has been all about using different methods to work out number sentences, and the whole class have worked very hard on answering missing number questions.
In PE this week, year two warmed up playing a game of spider tig followed by a game of 'What time is it, Mr. Wolf?'. We also enjoyed our tennis lessons, led by Mat from Thongsbridge Tennis Club.
Class 2 have designed their own campervans and have thought about what materials and equipment they might need in DT.
In our spelling lessons, we have practiced spelling homophone words and making sure that we select the correct word for the correct meaning.
The class spent one afternoon looking at old photographs of seaside holidays and thought about what had changed and what had stayed the same.
