Homework 3rd April 2020

Posted: Apr 3, 2020 by: Emma Barker (EBarker) on: Class 2

Well that's the Spring Term finished, and we've learned so much, haven't we? I've loved teaching you all about the Great Fire of London. Your progress has been immense! I've been doing a fair bit of number crunching and everybody has made massive improvements in their maths scores since January - I'm so proud of you all. Thank you for embracing the remote learning over the last two weeks. Your emails and pictures have really kept me so positive. Here are just a few of them from this week...

I've had some amazing Great Fire of London traditional tales emailed to me so far. Remember to email me yours at class2@netherthongprimary.co.uk  I aim to make them into a virtual book and share them with you after the Easter break.

So homework for the holidays is an Easter reading challenge: You can download a copy and get reading! Try to use a different book for each challenge. You can send your entries to the class 2 email and I will be awarding certificates and prizes after the holidays. My other homework is to stay at home, stay safe, think about writing a letter to a friend or relative and ensure you have a good rest, ready for more remote learning in two weeks! Don't forget the Lego challenge Mrs Barker which will be available on the school blog everyday during the holidays!

Have an amazing Easter! Keep smiling!

Lots of love

Mrs Barker, Miss Hemingway and the Year 2 team xxxx
