During our PE sessions with the sports coach, this half term we are looking at orienteering. This week we looked at locating different check points on a map of the school grounds. We found that we had to keep moving the map to ensure that the playgrounds were in the right location.
In Science this week, we've been re-visiting our materials topic and enjoying some practical work. We had four questions to investigate about the most suitable materials for nappies, coats, writing on and picnic plates. We had a great time soaking fabrics to test their repellency, testing out absorbency and testing out the properties of plates!
Today, we met with our buddies to have a go with their science and DT project involving an electrical circuit. They played the buzzer games together this afternoon and were 'buzzing' about it when we come back to class!
