Shapes here, there and everywhere!

We have loved looking at shapes this week! We started looking at 3D shapes and their properties. On Wednesday, we went on a 2D and 3D shape hunt around the school grounds spotting the shapes, naming them and recalling their properties. We found that shapes are everywhere ...
We also made the 3D shapes we found using marshmallows and cocktail sticks. How much fun we had making these safely!
In PE we have been working on different ways of moving in gymnastics. We travelled across pieces of equipment in different ways. We had lots of fun!
We visited the book fair during our library time this week and enjoyed looking through the wide selection of books that were available. We came back down and had a lovely story time with a book from the book fair!
