30.4.21 Week in Review

Hello everyone,
I hope you have all had a good week.
There has been all sorts going on in class one this week! From planting seeds, to doubling, sharing and dividing, we have all been keeping busy!
Here are a few photos of the doubling work the children enjoyed this week!
The children have brilliant imaginations and have been mixing words together to make a new creature! After reading the story Woolf, all about a part sheep part wolf, they thought of their own mixed creature and created a name for them too. When, two words are mixed and create a new meaning, it is called a portmanteau!
