12.3.21 Week in Review

The children have come back wonderfully - so a big well done from me here to everyone who has made it a smooth and calm experience!
Homework will be posted over on teams from now on so you can head there to find the tasks for the week.
In class, we have been busy and had loads of fun. For world book day, we looked at Jack and the Beanstalk and James and the Giant Peach as our theme was spring and we talked about things that grow.
We have recapped measuring in centimetres and the concept of heavy and light. We also had a lovely time working on capacity and testing out words like full, empty, half full, and nearly empty and used awesome coloured water to make the task even more fun. It is needless to say after our maths lesson we mixed the colours and in the process, made a huge mess!
