Morning all,

Apologies for the lack of activities yesterday, there was a Kirklees wide school internet issue which meant as soon I was in school I was unable to post any of the work I had planned for you.

Today is the first of the 'transition Tuesdays' and the aim is to give you a chance to get to know a little bit about your teacher next year. Here is a message from Mrs Barker:

Hello everyone from Year 1! This is very exciting, being a guest on the Year 1 blog! I'm really enjoying my time with my little Year 1 bubble. I've also enjoyed meeting the other bubble in the playground on a morning and in the afternoon. But this is a chance for me to get to know those of you at home accessing our home learning. I'm super excited to have you in my Year 2 class next year. As yet, we don't know what that will look like, but we're all hopeful that things will be more 'normal' by then. Usually at this time of year, we might have a morning together or a few lessons here and there. It's always nice to get to know new children and a little bit about what they like to do. If you click here, you'll find a sheet to fill in about yourself. I'd love it if you could fill this in and email to me at class2@netherthongprimary.co.uk I'm going to ask the year 1 bubbles to do it too! I hope you have a lovely day!

Here is today's list of suggested activities:

Be sure to keep up the reading at home! It is super important to keep your reading and phonics going.

Cheers everyone!
