Week ending 27.5.22

Well done this half term. You have been amazing. When I think back over the half term, we have been really busy.
We had Miss Arno with us, which was great. We have had a river study, read books and we have even started to learn the recorder.
This week has been a busy one, with lots of Jubilee celebrations to add into the timetable. We have learnt our song and the National Anthem. It sounded amazing on the playground this afternoon and you all looked wonderful in your red, white and blue.
You really enjoyed looking at my old books from home , which led onto lots of discussions about the war and what the Queen and her family did.
We also looked at my oboe and discovered how it was very similar in lots of ways, to our recorders.
