Remote Learning Wednesday 29th April 2020

Posted: Apr 28, 2020 by: Mrs Parker (NHemingway) on: Class 3

Good morning! I can’t believe that Wednesday is here already. Remember to keep in touch by sending us an email or writing a comment on the blog. We had another surprise delivery yesterday. My auntie had a picture of the whole family put on a jigsaw and sent to us! The power of technology strikes again. This is such a lovely way to remember everyone, especially those who are not with us anymore, we are definitely going to enjoy making the faces of everyone! (Not a sentence you usually say). Here it is …

Have you been doing any jigsaws or puzzles? I know Mr C and quite a lot of year 6 have, let me know by sending in pictures if you have them!

Here is the suggested timetable for today:

E.R.I.C. - Everybody Reading in Class for 20 mins (remember to record your reading in your planners)

Active time - Joe Wicks guided PE lesson at 9am

Don’t forget GoNoodle:

https://www.gonoodle.com/

Maths/Literacy - do this in batches of 20 mins each, build in breaks.

Break – Why don’t you paint or decorate a stone and leave it somewhere for someone to find, making them smile?

Literacy/Art;

How did you get on with planning the letter yesterday? Already written it? Don’t worry.

Your task for today is to write another letter to someone else, I know that year 6 even wrote one to themselves to open a year from now to remind them about what they were doing and what was going on in the world.

Maybe you could draw some pictures to go with your letters? Create an activity like a crossword or word search? Maybe even give them a picture to colour in like the letters I coloured in for our refuse collectors?

I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

French;

Bonjour encore! Today in French we are going to carry on looking at the French names for the colours. Here is something a little fun to help with your learning. I have found a word search so have a go at finding all of the colours in French. Also, don’t forget about Duolingo which is a fabulous way to learn in short, easy sessions. I have started an Italian course as well as a French one. Here is an image of the word search as well …

Here is the Lego challenge for today! Remember to email us your creations! If you don't have Lego, don't worry any construction material will do …

Have a lovely day and hopefully the sun will shine again soon!

Miss H
