Good morning!

I had a lovely day in school yesterday. We were busy creating some huge, colourful wings with lots of painted feathers. Hopefully they will be finished today and I will post a photo.

Here are today's suggested activities:

English –

Today is interview day! Can you write some interview questions that you might ask someone, possibly from the WWF, about your endangered animal? See if someone in your house (it could even be a teddy) is prepared to be interviewed by you. If you can, you could record it and send it to us.

Maths –

Have a go at these money problems today.

Computing -

I would like you to experiment with 2animate. I have set it as a 2do for you all. Use this program to create your own simple animations. It would be helpful to watch the tutorial before you begin.

I am looking forward to seeing your creations.

As your computing session is on Purple Mash, I haven't set you a Litz Blitz or maths activity on there (I don't want you getting square eyes!) Instead can you think of an active, learning activity. We have found an amazing rope swing hidden in the woods and every-time we use it, we shout out our times-tables with every swing! Will also likes playing a hide and seek game with his phonics cards... learning on the move!

Let me know if you think of any good ones - I may 'borrow' them!

Have a wonderful day.

Love from Mrs Kendal and the year 4 team xxx
