Look at a pack on numicon if available find these numbers. What do they notice? These are even numbers(no sticking out bits)

The other ones with sticky out bits are the odd numbers. 1 3 5 7 9

Sort the numicon into odd and even.

Colour in a 100 square odd/even numbers on the interactive board. What is the pattern?

 Read Rosie walk

Rosie's Walk Power Point

Discuss journeys ‘Where do you walk to?’, ‘Where do you go in a car?’ ‘How else can you travel?’, ‘Who do you travel with?’

Look at the story sequence and make a Rosie character.

In school we are using a dolly peg but a wooden spoon is good.

Make a story map using the 4 main parts.

Pond

Haystack

Windmill

Cart and Bee's.....

Talk through the story using the  preposition language of: across, over, around, under and through.

Continue to care for your plants.

Thank-you

Mrs Oddy
